Champions of India: National Sports Day Quiz 2024
National Sports Day (NSD) is celebrated every year on 29th August to commemorate India’s deep-rooted tradition of sports. This day is a tribute to Hockey legend Major Dhyan Chand and celebrates the nation’s sporting icons, honoring their contributions and dedication to bringing laurels to the country on the international stage. The NSD 2019 marked a significant moment with the grand launch of the FIT India Mission by the Hon’ble Prime Minister of India, aiming to revive and promote a vibrant sports culture across the nation.
This year, to further this mission, Minstry of Youth Affairs and Sports,FIT India in collaboration with MyGov, invites you to participate in the “Champions of India: National Sports Day Quiz 2024”. This quiz is designed to celebrate the indomitable spirit of Indian athletes, their outstanding achievements, and the rich legacy of sports in our country. Whether you are a student, a sports enthusiast, or simply passionate about India’s sporting history, this quiz offers an exciting and educational experience for everyone. Challenge yourself, test your knowledge, and compete with sports lovers from across the nation. Join us now and be a part of this inspiring journey that celebrates India’s champions!
Salient Features:
1. The quiz will be conducted in English.
2. The duration of the quiz will be 5 minutes (300 seconds), during which a maximum of 15 questions must be answered.
