The early years (0 to 8 years) are the most significant period of growth and development in a child’s life because this is when the foundations are laid for holistic development and all learning. Children who participate in quality early childhood education programme demonstrate considerable gains in social, educational and intellectual spheres, distinctively different from those who do not participate in ECCE programmes. Strong foundations in the early years has lasting impact on children’s development and are considered to be critical inputs in improving the enrolment and participation of children in formal schooling. Research shows that good quality early learning/early childhood education programmes help to reduce the chances of dropout and repetition and improves outcomes at all levels of education.

The aim of FLN is to ensure that children learn in a joyful manner through play, stories, rhymes, activities, local art, craft and music and develop strong foundations for lifelong learning. Surajkund Crafts Mela
India is a country with diverse cultures and
traditions. The Surajkund International Crafts Mela is a handicraft fair
organized about 40 km from Delhi at Surajkund in the Faridabad district of
Haryana. The annual handicraft fair at Surajkund during the first fortnight of
every February celebrates everything fine in Indian folk traditions and
culture. Over a million people visit the crafts fair during the fortnight.
Surajkund International Crafts Mela is celebrated
in Surajkund in the district of Faridabad, Haryana, every year.The mela is
organised by Surajkund Mela Authority and Haryana Tourism in collaboration with
the Union Ministries of Textiles, Tourism, and External and Cultural Affairs.
It is a grand event that brings together craftsmen, artisans, cultural groups,
and artists worldwide to participate in the event.

The Surajkund International Crafts Mela is a
celebration of the diversity of India. The ambience is rural and ethnic. It
presents India’s exotic and exquisite handlooms, handicrafts, and handmade
items. The goal of the Surajkund International Crafts Mela is to promote
India’s art forms. The ‘Mela’ identifies languishing and lesser-known crafts
and offers a forum for their exhibition and export as well.
INESO/IESO (The international Earth science Olympiad) is conducted by the MoES (Ministry of Earth Science) and GIS(Geological Society of India), Bangalore.
This has been conducted for the students of class 9, Class 10 and class 11.
For students of kendriya vidyalaya sangathan registration has started.
The INESO/IESO Entrance Test will be conducted on 27th January 2024 in all over India.
The main objective of the entrance exam is to motivate students in Earth science. Every year 25 students are selected for training to participate in National and International Earth science programs.
The Olympiad was launched, in way back in 2009. To create extensive awareness among the students participating in the Earth Science competition.

Pariksha Pe Charcha 2024, #PPC 2024 will be organised in January/February 2024. Hon’ble Prime Minster Shri Narendra Modi will meet the students again in Talkatora Stadium.
This is the 7th edition of Pariksha Pe Charcha. The Indian Prime Minister will come across the students and answer their questions to overcome the immense fear of the forthcoming board examination.
Pariksha Pe Charcha was first started in the year 2018. Since then it has become the annual event by the Hon’ble Prime Minster. At this event, Modi Ji met with the students and tried to feel them relax from the examination.

Pariksha pe Charcha 2024 is scheduled for 29.01.2024. #PPC 2024 program is going to be organized on 29th January 2024. This is a tentative date released by the MoE. The August program will be started in Talkatora stadium at 11 a.m. for all the students, who are going to appear in the board exams this year. Class Xth and Class XIIth students, parents, and teachers are active participants in the program.
